IPv6 Cookbook - This webpage is meant to give a brief overview of the basic commands needed to enable IPv6 on the peering session with Internet2 Network. Both Cisco and Juniper commands are supplied.
Multicast Cookbook - A sample router configuration for enabling Multicast peering with Internet2 Network, with brief explanation and references for further information.
Automatically Generated Topology Map - This is a map generated, using GraphVis from the a NDL topology file of the Internet2 Network. There are NDL and NMWG files that also describe the topology.
Internet2 Engineering Map - This is an engineering map of all Internet2 Network Participants and Peer Networks.
Internet2 IP IGP Metrics - This is a map showing the metrics used among the Internet2 Network IP backbone routers for interior routing. These metrics are based on route-kilometers between nodes.
Internet2 IPv6 Map - This is a map illustrating the current multicast topology of the Internet2 Network.
Internet2 NOC Support - Connectors Map - Internet2-maintained diagram that displays all the Internet2 Network Connectors and their Participants on the national footprint.
Internet2 Ciena Infrastructure - This map of the Ciena network depicts the data-plane interfaces installed in each node and the backbone topology. The number associated with each backbone interface is the 'OSRP Link Identifier' which is only synonymous with the physical Access Identifier (AID) where adjacent nodes are connected by a single OC192 line. Multiple parallel backbone circuits connecting adjacent nodes are bundled together into a single OSRP link wherein the bundled lines are treated as a single entity by OSRP. Unused OC192 interfaces are not shown but all Ethernet Line Modules, whether providing service or not, are included. Only connectors to the DCN service are shown; all of the connections concerned with other customers' production IP backhauls and internal connectivity to Internet2-owned routers and switches are omitted to improve clarity.
