The Washington DC International Exchange (WIX) is a partnership between Internet2 and the MAX Gigapop to provide a research and education peering point in the Washington DC area. It’s jointly funded by Internet2 and MAX and resides in the Level3 carrier facility in McLean. Networks that wish to connect must contact Dale Finkelson at Internet2.
