Description: | The MAN LAN Trans-Atlantic ANA-100G circuit is now stable. The fiber provider
has moved the services from this asset to another path along the same route,
supplying temporary resolution for this issue. The reason for the instability is an under sea
fiber cut.
The initial fault is still present and requires engagement by their cable
repair services that continue to be scheduled to resolve this condition long
term.
Cable ship transiting to Avonmouth for weather stand-by and pilot scheduled
Sunday 20th of December morning. Repairs will begin upon arrival of that
repair ship.
Cable ship has since arrived on site; tentatively, ETR is 24th December
2015.
Please note that these are estimates and are tentative. This may vary as per
ship availability and weather condition.
We will update once we have more updates from the Circuit Vendor.
Marine team as we move closer to the estimated repair date. |
