Description:Backbone NEWY-WASH is now available. Internet2's fiber provider reports the reason for outage was fiber damage caused by a broken manhole cover. Field technicians were able to roll to undamaged fiber to resolve the outage. A future maintenance will be scheduled to replace the damaged fiber. No further outages are expected. Backbone traffic re-routed during the outage.

Description:The AL2S Core Node in Denver, CO experienced packet loss due to a hardware issue. Internet2 Engineers rebooted affected hardware to resolve the issue. The issue was resolved by that hardware reboot. No further outages are expected.
